This November 1st, the Plant vs Undead team updated their PvP mode ban policy due to the high amount of users abandoning their games, causing the opponent to lose the chance to win battles.
According to the new policies announced, every time a player decides to abandon a game will now be counted as a «strike» and if he/she accumulates a total of 14 abandoned games in a week or a month, he/she will be permanently banned from the game.
How to get a strike in PvP mode?
- Quitting 6 matches within 24 hours.
- Quitting 10 matches within 72 hours.
- Quitting 14 matches within a week.
Each strike will result in penalties as follows:
- 1st strike: Banned for 24 hours
- 2nd strike: Banned for a week
- 3rd strike: Banned permanently
Your strikes will be cleared if you do not receive any further strikes within 30 days.
Example of how to get a strike in PvP mode
- On November 1st, you quit 6 matches, resulting in the first strike, so you are banned for 24 hours.
- On November 15th, you get a second strike for quitting 14 matches within the previous week. At this point, you are banned for 1 week.
- Lastly, on December 16th, you quit another 6 games within a day, resulting in your third strike. However, it has been 31 days since your previous ban, so this will count as the first strike of a new cycle, and you will only be banned for 24h.
- If you had received your 3rd strike on December 15th instead, you would’ve been banned permanently because it was within 30 days from your last ban.
On the other hand, they announced some improvements in the Mother Tree which had some errors and also enabled the function of combining fragments, which will allow the creation of new NFT plants.
So now you have to be careful and keep track of how many times you decide to quit a game, whether it is your fault or not.
